Light-bodied and slightly dry and acidic, this fresh pale yellow Condado Laxas Albariño is bright with fruity notes and a lightly floral nose.

Grown and popular in the “green and lush” region of Spain (relative to its more hot, dry and arid central regions), the Albariño grape and its wines are artfully grown and prepared because of its cooler, damp climate. Similar to the green, rolling hills of Ireland, Rías Baixas, the soil is influenced both by the ocean and the riverlands.

Produced by Bodegas As Laxas, a family owned and operated winery established in 1862, the Condado Laxas Albariño is part of their wide selection of wines using the famed Albariño grape. Located in the Condado do Tea, which is the second largest subregion of the Rias Baixas DO, the estate vineyards are terraced with a glorious view, overlooking the Mino River separating Spain from Portugal.

This wine truly shines with food and pairs very well with light, summery dishes that make coastal produce and fresh seafood shine. Think brined cheese, cured meats and freshly shucked oysters!

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork.
