An authentic P.D.O certified Feta cheese that serves as a flavorful complement to nearly any Mediterranean food.

Fresh pasteurized sheep’s milk (and sometimes goat’s milk) from free-grazing animals are used to make Kolios Authentic Feta P.D.O. cheese, which is aged in brine.

The distinctive, exceptional flavor of Kolios Authentic Feta P.D.O. cheese is guaranteed by the natural scent of Mediterranean grasses, as well as the company’s strong heritage and competence in cheese-making. Feta cheese has long been an essential element of Greek cuisine, enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Enjoy Kolios Authentic Feta P.D.O. cheese in a traditional Greek salad or in sandwiches with sliced tomatoes. It works exceptionally well with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, or pepper on top. A flavorful complement to nearly any Mediterranean food.

Dimitrios Kolios created Kolios, a small dairy production center of kasseri cheese in Polykastro-Kilkis, near Thessaloniki. His pioneer product became popular throughout Northern Greece which further elevated the brand into its current status of being one of the leading manufacturers of traditional Greek dairy products.

Storage Instructions

Cheeses (except brined ones in jars) should be stored in the crisper or the butter drawer of a refrigerator, not on the shelves themselves. This is to help regulate their temperature and humidity levels—and prevents the formation of mold. Once opened, they should not be kept in their original packaging. Soft cheeses with delicate rinds need to breathe, so they are best placed in glass containers lined with paper towels to absorb extra moisture. Leave the lid open a tiny bit for air to circulate and don’t forget to write up a label with the date you first opened the package. Kindly pay attention to the best before date label when you receive your cheese. Consume prior to date indicated.
