El Almendro Crunchy Almond Turron

Spanish Turrónes, not to be confused with the Philippine Turon, is a sweet nougat delicacy popular throughout Southern Europe. They are a traditional sweet confection of Moorish origin that is popular during the Christmas season. El Almendro, a Spanish turrónes company that has been around since 1883, has become synonymous with this Christmas tradition.

The El Almendro Crunchy Almond Turron is made with an exceptionally high percentage of toasted almonds, which are then combined with a honey-and-sugar caramel. Egg white is then added to obtain its signature white color. This turron is a tried-and-true favorite with its sweet taste and crunchy texture.
