LOOKING BACK AT OUR FIRST WINE AND CHILL IN SALCEDO

LOOKING BACK AT OUR FIRST WINE AND CHILL IN SALCEDO

Some nights remind you why wine doesn’t always need an occasion — just good people, good music, and the right mood.

Last October 17, 2025 Terry’s Salcedo hosted the first Wine & Chill, and it unfolded exactly how we hoped it would: relaxed, unpretentious, and easy to settle into. Guests dropped by, stayed longer than planned, and let the night take its own shape — good wine, good music, no agenda.

It also happened to be the first time we opened up our Salcedo 2nd Floor private space once again, which quietly became part of the evening’s charm.

Live Music That Didn’t Try Too Hard

The live band set the tone without demanding attention. Smooth, soulful, and perfectly paced — the kind of music that makes conversation easier and refills feel justified. It filled the room just enough, letting the night feel lively without ever feeling loud.

A Renewed Space, Naturally Lived In

Our 2nd Floor private area made its debut during Wine & Chill, and it immediately felt at home. Intimate seating, warm corners, and a layout made for lingering — not rushing. It was the kind of space that invites long catch-ups, casual dates, and “let’s stay a bit longer” moments.

Wines Worth Sharing

Wines were served by the carafe, encouraging guests to explore together:

  • William Fèvre La Mission Chardonnay – crisp, elegant, and refreshing
  • Marqués de Cáceres Rosé – light, bright, and easygoing
  • Messias Cachão Douro Tinto – smooth, expressive, and approachable

Paired with endless pintxos, the food leaned into sharing — small plates designed to move around the table and keep things social.

Why It Worked

Wine & Chill wasn’t about formal tastings or learning notes by heart. It was about:

  • discovering wine at your own pace
  • letting live music carry the night
  • enjoying a new space without overthinking it

By the end of the evening, the takeaway was simple: this was a night people wanted more of.

And yes — Wine & Chill is now back with the first stop back at Salcedo last January 23, 2026 .

If you missed the first one, consider this your preview to come and go down South at Terry’s Molito on January 30, 2026. Same easygoing energy, same thoughtful pours, and another night designed to be enjoyed, not rushed.

We’ll see you upstairs. 🍷✨
