La Mision Chardonnay Reserva is a Chilean chardonnay hailing from the famous Maipo valley just south of Santiago, the capital city. Known for producing bold-flavored whites, La Mision Chardonnay Reserva does not disappoint in this regard.

This particular chardonnay has a very bold flavor that will get you dreaming of summer nights and light nicoise salads. It will transport you to a walm, balmy afternoon with a light breeze kissing your neck, and the well-balanced acidity refreshing not only your palate, but also your temperament as the cool, golden liquid balances your mood. The sweetness is perfectly balanced with the dryness - not too much of either. To the eye, the wine is very light in color, reminiscent of a mid-morning sun shining on a sandstone wall. To the nose, expect notes of pear and butter. Afterthoughts include oak and apple.

This beautiful wine is best paired with tuna and salmon - or any fish with a rich flavor. It also goes very well with chicken. If you’d like to step out of your comfort zone, pair this wine with a delicious arrollado de huaso (the Chilean version of porchetta) with a playful green mango sauce.
