Hailing from the world famous Campo de Borja, this fantastic red is sure to take your breath away and leave you in a daydream state. Imagine a fresh, revitalizing Garnacha mixed with the fruity sweetness of a Syrah and one is on their way to imagining this beautiful wine.
It is bold in flavor with medium tannins and a slight sweetness. It offers acidity but is also quite smooth at the same time. To the eye: it offers a deep, dark ruby red that is reminiscent of dark cherries. Purple highlights shine through in the right light. On the nose: notes of red fruits and spices shine through, offering thoughts of the Iberian Mountain Range, which are close to where the grapes are grown. On the palate: this is a very silky, easy wine to drink. Notes of oak and cloves are noticed alongside the heavy thoughts of red fruit.
This wine is best served at the start of the meal with appetizers or with grilled red meat. The frutiness of the wine and the boldness of the flavor will easily match the intense flavors of red meat and accompanying sauces.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
