Phebus Wine is located in Mendoza, Argentina - a region famous for its world-class Malbec production. Taking advantage of the warm, dry climate, Phebus grows excellent Cabernet Sauvignon grapes here. The Phebus Cabernet Sauvignon is pure Cab Sav and is dry, tannic, and smooth.
It is medium bodied with a little less boldness compared to other Cabernet Sauvignons, but it more than makes up for it with a refreshing palate thanks to the balanced acidity and fresh tannins. To the eye: beautiful ruby red with purple streaks. On the nose: fresh and crisp with notes of blackcurrant and herbs, such as mint. On the palate: dark and red fruits are noticeable but the real winner with this wine is how refreshing it is on the palate.
This wine pairs perfectly with grilled meats and mature cheeses. It is also enjoyable to drink it on its own in the early evening on a hot summer’s day.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
