There might be nothing more innocent or comforting than the strawberry. It has a distinct flavor and is enjoyed by millions of people around the world. Strawberry jam is no different and is enjoyed by many for breakfast each morning. It works well if the bread is toasted and is lathered heavily with butter. The uses for strawberry jam are quite limited and do not translate as well as other jams, however that isn’t to say that strawberry jam is not without its own uses.
Strawberry jam works particularly well with desserts like strawberry ice cream (simply use vanilla ice cream and add strawberry jam to it), cakes, pies, and bars. Strawberry jam also works really well in drinks, like a simple glass of milk with some jam mixed into it, or perhaps a milkshake, which will require a little more effort to produce, but is far superior in flavor and texture. Or simply grab a spoon and have at it. Be careful of the sugar content, though. There is certainly too much of a good thing.
Store your tin/jar in a cool, dark, and dry pantry. Store in fridge once opened.
