With the 2018 Vintage of the Blanc Pescador Blanco N.V. being in the top 2% of all wines in the region, this wine is fresh, slightly acidic, smooth, effervescent, with a hint of sweetness and a nice floral and flowery finish.
A wine born in 1967 on Mediterranean shores, the Castillo de Perelada Blanc Pescador NV, is an ode and love letter of its originating winery to the sea. This winery has devoted its efforts to the preservation and protection of marine biodiversity through a number of collaborations and projects like an annual beach clean up, the CRAM Foundation, sustainable ways of producing their products and collaborations with different associations and groups focused on the sea such as Cap a la mar, the Catalan Association of Gifts of the Sea, as well as other organizations that work to make the sea a better and respected place.
The Castillo de Perelada Blanc Pescador NV is the perfect wine to enjoy by the ocean, with fresh seafood, like a tangy Shrimp Cocktail or succulent Lobster and fresh oysters. Best enjoyed chilled, with the backdrop of the ocean and the setting sun!
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
