Rolly Gassmann Riesling Réserve Millésime

The Rolly Gassmann Riesling Reserve Millesime is a wonderful wine. Not only does it effectively present all the characteristics that make a Riesling so wonderful, it adds onto this with flare and style. Produced in the Alsace region in France, this wine is produced with only Riesling grapes. The result is one of the best Rieslings in the world.

It is a medium-bodied Riesling that promotes medium-acidity. It finds the right balance between dryness and sweetness creating a perfect representation of a good Riesling. To the eye: the wine presents a beautiful golden yellow, indicative of an excellent Riesling. On the nose: white floral notes with hints of minerals, such as stone and rubber shine through. On the palate: the intense floral and rubber notes are noticed but are complemented by a rather wonderful fruitiness of citrus and white fruits. The sip offers a long finish with a delicious oakiness tying all parts of the palate together.

This delicious Riesling can be enjoyed with fish and chicken dishes. It is best enjoyed on its own, cold, and on a hot afternoon. It is rather refreshing and should be allowed to do just that.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
