Known for their passion and dedication to their vineyards and wines, Rolly Gassmann introduced freshness and quality while melding modern winemaking methods with traditional standards. The result are overwhelmingly positive and interesting wines which act as excellent standard bearers for The Wine Road in the Alsace region.
The Rolly Gassmann Gewurztraminer Brandhurst de Bergheim Selection de Grains Nobles is a fresh, well-aged (and rare) Gewurztraminer. It is bold, sweet, and soft. It is the perfect dessert wine and represents the perfect way to end a meal - be it heavy or light. To the eye: golden, rich yellows are beautifully presented and show maturity and levity in the wine. On the nose: rich fruity notes combined lovingly with floral tones intrigue and activate the senses. On the palate: this is where the magic happens. Incredibly fresh notes of white fruits, such as citrus and pair give way to white flowers and their fragrance. The wine is light, refreshing, and offers a medium-finish. It is extremely enjoyable and should be part of every serious wine collection.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
