Sancerre is a wine producing region located in Loire Valley in France. It is known for its wine - specifically Sauvignon Blanc. The wines produced here are lively, dry, crisp and fresh. The same is said for Raimbault-Pineau’s Sancerre Blanc.
This delicious Sauvignon Blanc is light on the palate offering a very dry, crisp drinking experience that is refreshingly acidic. It is rather fruity and offers a delicious variety of citrus notes. To the eye: pale golden with hints of green in the right light. On the nose: citrus heavy with keen notes of lemon, lime, and grapefruit observed. On the palate: distinct notes of blackcurrant leaf, white flowers, and citrus with a distinct oakiness. It is delicious, refreshing, and the perfect summer drink.
The Raimbauilt-Pineau Sancerre Blanc can be enjoyed as an aperitif thanks to the refreshment and stimulation it brings the senses. It can also be paired with light apps such as oysters and cured fish.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
