The Marqués de Cáceres Viura from Spain is a light and fruity white wine with flowery scents and a smooth and elegant taste.

The Marqués de Cáceres Viura is created from 100% Viura grapes grown in Rioja and fermented in stainless steel. It is being released while it is still young in order to properly enjoy its freshness and vitality. It boasts a 12 percent ABV and is fresh and delicious. On the nose, it has melon scents with flowery overtones. It is bright and clean on the palate, with a superb elegance and smoothness, and a lingering and well-balanced finish.

As an aperitif, pair the Marqués de Cáceres Viura with soft and mild cheeses. Pair with salads and fish and seafood dishes for main meals.

Enrique Forner created Marqués de Cáceres in 1970. As a youth, he worked in the wine trade, and his grandparents and father established “Vinicola Forner,” which produced, marketed, and exported wines in Sagunto, Valencia, Spain. While exiled in France owing to the civil war, he began his wine adventure in 1952. He purchased grand cru chateaux classes in Bordeax, the Rhone Valley, and the Loire Valley. But when he returned to Spain in 1968, he picked Cecinero and La Rioja to pursue his winemaking goals. Christina Forner, his granddaughter, is carrying on both his desire and his legacy today, adhering to tradition while keeping up with the present.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
