Les Jamelles’ Les Petite Jamelles Blanc is a delicious white wine hailing from the Pays d’Herault in Southern France. It is created in this P.G.I. certified area using a combination of Grenache and Sauvignon Blanc. Both grapes are extremely fruity, with Grenache bringing a delicious spiciness to the blend and Sauvignon Blanc with the forward heavy zing of citrus, namely lime.
This delicious wine is extremely well-balanced. It promotes a nice dryness that pairs well with the reserved body of the wine as well as the good balance of sweetness and acidity. To the eye: pale straw yellow is pleasing with hints of green and gold in different lights. On the nose: Bouquets of lemon and peach playfully tantalize the senses with floral notes teasingly intertwined. On the palate: Light, delicate, and playful, notes of lime and green apple, mixed with hints of grapefruit and smoked wood.
This wine is light and refreshing. It is wonderful to sip and is paired well with soft cheeses, like goats cheese, or even cream cheese. It elevates an otherwise simple snack into a rich, sumptuous meal.
