The Les Jamelles Chardonnay Bio is created using a process called organic agriculture. Simply put, organic culture refers to production systems that maintain and promote the health of soils, ecosystems, and people. It relies more on the ecosystem and natural processes, rather than harmful inputs (such as pesticide) to encourage plant growth and health.
Les Jamelles Chardonnay Bio is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes. The grapes are picked at night when it is cooler and then pressed immediately. They are fermented for 5 months in stainless steel tanks. The wine is acidic and pleasantly refreshing. It is slightly dry and offers a nice boldness. To the eye: a beautiful, slightly golden yellow is noticeable that is brilliant and clear. On the nose: fruity notes of apricot, pear and banana are most noticeable with thoughts of white flowers and hazelnut towards the end. On the palate: round, well-balanced, and long-finishing, this delicious Chardonnay will have you coming back for more, and more, and more…
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
