La Mision Chardonnay Gran Reserva

Located in the famous Maipo Valley, this fantastic Chardonnay is not only fresh, but is excellent at refreshing the palate, body, and spirit - all with one sip. A fruity zesty wine, it pays homage to its home. The minerals in the valley and the rich flavors of the earth have combined with the grapes and can be tasted in this wine. All one need do is close their eyes and let the flavors guide them through the Maipo Valley.

This is a powerful, bold Chardonnay. It has an excellent mouth feel with a medium finish. It is quite dry, with a playful hint of sweetness to take the edge off and is quite smooth with the slightest acidity to refresh the senses. To the eye: golden straw yellow hits the eye. Medium intensity. On the nose: notes of tropical and citrus fruits massage the senses. On the palate: Notes of pear, lemon zest, citrus, banana, and pineapple are all present.

This excellent wine pairs excellently with light fish dishes, such as Bacalao al Pil Pil or simply enjoy this wine on its own.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
