Grupo Álvaro Palacios Plácet Valtomelloso is made with 100% Viura and aged for at least 9 months.

The grapes originate from the Viura vineyards in the Valtomelloso area. Grupo Álvaro Palacios Plácet Valtomello so is a vindication of the knowledge and tradition of Rioja white wines. It exudes pure dynamism, maturity and class.

On the palate, you get an air of intimate mystery, with hints of white fruits and flowers. People have experienced layers of honey, melon, pear, apple notes with a hint of oak, butter and vanilla. This semi-bold wine is dry and packs slight acidity. It is gorgeous straw gold in color.

Pairs exceptionally well with Shellfish, lean fish and cured meats.

Bodegas Palacios Remondo Plácet Valtomelloso is an estate-grown organic white wine made from Viura, an indigenous Spanish grape varietal. Plácet, which means “consent,” is the sole white wine created by acclaimed Spanish winemaker Alvaro Palacios. Plácet is a superb wine with ‘great depth and purity,’ according to Alvaro Palacios, and is extremely delicious either served alone or with any type of cuisine.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
