Bestheim Sylvaner Classic

The Bestheim Sylvaner Classic has a beautiful complexity which is a result of the harvest coming from older vines and rich and deep terroirs. This wine has fruity notes of apple and pear as well as earthy notes of straw.

Located in Alsace, France, Bestheim is a cooperative and a result of five different mergers of wineries across the region: Bennwihr, Westhalten, Obernai, Sigolsheim and Kientzheim-Kaysersberg. It started as a group of individuals with a clear vision and they dubbed themselves as Moon Chasers (known as Mondfangers in Alsatian), attributing to the goal of reaching for the moon, in terms of the quality of their Alsace wines and cremants.

The fresh and delicate Bestheim Sylvaner Classic is best paired with fruits like peaches, nectarines and plums. A food-friendly wine, this can also go well with a variety of dishes and hors d’oeuvres, fresh mixed salads, Lorraine pies or quiches, sauerkraut or seafood and shellfish.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
