Casa del Valle Acantus Vendimia Seleccionada Sauvignon Blanc from Grupo Bodegas Olarra is a pleasant white wine. It is produced using only Sauvignon Grapes that are slowly fermented over low temperatures to ensure the yeast has enough time to activate and consume the sugars. It is then allowed to rest on fine lees for a period of time that gives this beautiful Sauvignon Blanc its round, mature characteristics.

Casa del Valle Acantus Vendimia Seleccionada Sauvignon Blanc is a very well-balanced wine, offering a sip that is neither bold, nor light. It is quite dry and leans towards the acidic end of things. To the eye: the wine offers a beautiful light golden color leaning more towards white than yellow. On the nose: a delicious bouquet of white flowers and flint are most prominent. On the palate: white fruits, particularly tropical white fruits, are most noticeable. Pear, apple, pineapple, and passionfruit can be observed. It has a medium to long finish and is most refreshing.

This wine pairs perfectly with shellfish and light tapas. It also is wonderfully refreshing when drinking it on its own on a hot, summer afternoon.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
