The Les Jamelles Cinsault Rosé is made entirely of Cinsault grapes that are pressed as soon as they are harvested. The must is cold-settled before fermentation, which takes place at controlled temperatures.
The grapes used to make this Cinsault rosé come from three different terroirs: from the coast near Béziers, where the hot climate and proximity to the sea lend roundness and freshness, from the Herault Valley’s mid-slope vineyards which add richness, and from the Narbonne environs that add opulence.
Les Jamelles Cinsault Rosé is incredibly delicious and aromatic, garnering 87 points on Wine Spectator. It shows fragrances of candy, raspberry, strawberry, and grenadine, as well as floral notes, with its trademark lovely pale pink color and brilliance.
Freshness comes from a little touch of carbonic gas on the mouth (similar to a wine matured on the lees). It has a very well-balanced taste that combines roundness and length with acidity and freshness, making it incredibly appealing and simple to drink.
As an aperitif, serve with salads, braised or grilled meats, stuffed peppers, noodles, or cheeses like Cantal. We also recommend serving it with a pepper and anchovy salad, eggplant caviar, or a violet artichoke salad.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
