The Txakoli Txomin Etxaniz Rosé is made with Hondarrabi Beltza grapes, an indigenous variety which comes from the vineyards of Bodega Txomin Etxaniz in Getaria. They are hand-harvested, and then destemmed, and macerated for 12 hours before being pressed. They’re then fermented in stainless steel containers at controlled temperatures.
The txakoli from Bodega Txomin Etxaniz is certified by the Txakoli de Getari Denomination of Origin (Getariako Txakolina). This designation of origin is restricted to Gizpuzkoa’s historical region.
Txomin Etxaniz Rosado or Rosé is a pale pink txakoli with delicate bubbles. It has fruity flavors and mineral characteristics on the nose. Fresh and fruity on the palate, with medium acidity and subtle natural carbonic. This wine is effervescent and bubbly, making it a lot of fun. It contains strawberry notes and juicy, tangy sensations that are rounded out by the bubbles.
This is the bottle to drink with friends, and some authentic cheese and meats in the late afternoon. It also pairs well with salty, delicious Marcona almonds, seafood, and white meats.
