The Pastes Sanmarti Espagueti (Spaghetti) from Barcelona is tasty and well-made, made entirely with durum wheat semolina and water from the Caldes de Montbui spring. This exquisite quality pasta is made following a 300-year tradition, with a methodology that has changed little since then. The pasta is dried for 48 hours in traditional wooden cabinets that are over fifty years old, at 30 degrees, and a constant humidity of 70%. A versatile pasta, use it for any meal, like Bolognese, Carbonara, Aglio e Olio, Cacio e Pepe, and a number of other dishes. One of the oldest pasta companies, Pastes San Marti has been in the pasta business since the 1700s. It all started when Isidre Sanmarti attempted mixing wheat flour with Caldes de Montbui thermal mineral water. He made a wonderful, delicious dough, but it was still in need of improvement. He and his family worked hard, and his successors have now discovered new ways to improve the dough even further. Pastes San Marti has been in a family company for three centuries and shows no signs of slowing down.
