The gorgeous black hue of Pastes San Marti’s Espagueti Tinta is due to squid ink. It’s also responsible for the pasta’s rich, saline taste with just a trace of salty. Its scent and flavor evoke the sea, making it the ideal pasta for seafood meals.
Squid ink spaghetti with shrimp and tomatoes is a quick and easy way to prepare this pasta. Cook the Pasta San Marti Espagueti Tinta according per package directions.
Heat some olive oil in a big pan over medium high heat. Sauté the garlic until it is gently brown and aromatic.
Cook, stirring often, until the tomato paste has softened. Add the cherry tomatoes, white wine, water, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper after adding them to the tomatoes. Stir constantly until the shrimp are done.
Add the cooked pasta, butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, and part of the saved pasta water.
Cook for a few minutes more, making sure the pasta is well covered in the sauce. Mix with the basil leaves.

Heat some olive oil in a skillet over high heat, then add finely chopped garlic, red chili flakes, and salt.
Continue to cook until the garlic is browned and aromatic.
Add some vermouth and flambé it. Take care!
Combine the diced tomatoes and chicken stock in a mixing bowl.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to a low heat and leave to simmer for about 8 minutes.
Remove from the heat and puree the mixture until smooth. Pour into a basin.
Cook your squid ink pasta according per the package directions.
Sear the scallops in a separate pan over high heat until a golden crust develops on both sides. Place aside.
Heat the spaghetti sauce in a large skillet, season to taste, and mix in the prepared pasta.
Serve with cooked scallops on top.
