While not unheard of, it is still uncommon to find a winery in the La Rioja winemaking region that utilizes 100% Tempranillo in its wines. The result of this is an intense, bold, full-bodied wine that showcases the best grapes grown by the Marqués De Cáceres vineyards.
This wine is a bold and tannic affair that showcases a delicate softness that expertly balances the acidity of the wine. After all is said and done, there is a slight sweetness that shines through to entice the palate even further. On the nose: deep ruby red with a slight splatterting of violet can be observed. On the nose: A delicate bouquet of raspberries and red fruits are first noticed followed by floral tones. On the palate: Intense notes of red and black fruits, such as berries and plums clearly shine through. Towards the end of the finish, one notices tobacco and oak, thanks to the barrels in which this beautiful Tempranillo was aged.
This wine is intense and bold and pairs well with grilled meats. Kabobs and grilled pork are excellent with this wine. The intensity of the meat paired with the boldness of the wine will give consumers an epic dining experience.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
