Marqués De Cáceres Gaudium Reserva is a wine that is synonymous with excellence. While Marqués De Cáceres is known for the excellent wines they produce, the Gaudium Reserva is in a league of its own.
This exquisite wine is nearly pure Tempranillo save for the slight addition of Graciano grapes. The result is a beautifully refined, complicated, and mature wine that is bold, tannic, acidic, and refreshing - but not overly so. Well balanced by a slight sweetness, this wine delivers a masterclass in contrast and balance. To the eye: chromatic hues of violet and red are most evident. On the nose: beautiful bouquets of black fruit and deep, earthy roots and spices. On the palate: Blackberry, plums, and other dark fruits are noted. Lighter tones of liquorice, leather, vanilla, and oak are also observed. This wine is incredibly bold and full-bodied.
Due to the boldness of this wine, it is best paired with grilled meat and steak dishes. The intense flavors will perfectly compliment the often overwhelming palate produced by strongly cooked red meats.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
