La Pevera Geografico

Having a well-structured tannic backbone, the Geografico La Pevera Toscana is a wine that has medium acidity and a long complex finish.. It has notes of tart blueberries, ripe blackberries, and an earthy spiciness on the palate. This wine is juicy on the finish, with hints of vanilla, with a dry yet satisfying mouthfeel.

Known as a Supertuscan wine, the Geografico La Pevera Toscana is from the Geografico Winery, which is located in the Chianti Classico Hills, Chianti, Italy. Joining forces in 1961, seventeen farmers banded together, armed with their wisdom and knowledge about wine making in the region, to further enhance the rich wine heritage in their region.

Made from a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grape varieties, the Geografico La Pevera Toscana is a fruit-forward wine that is very food-friendly. This wine pairs excellently with strong cheeses, beef, lamb veal and most cured meat products and sausages.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
