Grupo Álvaro Palacios Propiedad is the new vintage of one of the essential wines from the Álvaro Palacios winery in Alfaro (Rioja). It is made mostly from Garnacha (92%) and other traditional varieties from 5 organic vineyards: Parajes de Valtomelloso, Valviejo, Las Mulgas and Corral de Serrano in Monte Yerga. An impressive red to enjoy now and for the next 5 years.

Grupo Álvaro Palacios Propiedad goes through malolactic fermentation in barrels and aged in new (50%) and French oak barrels (50%) for 16 months.

It is regarded as a distinguished wine. This wine is one of the most recommendable choices when it comes to eating because of its persistent and pleasant taste as the result of the good climatic conditions of the vineyard and the quality that the Palacios Remondo family brings and demands to its wines.

On appearance, it is medium cherry color with violet hues. On the nose, a clean aroma, intense, with fine notes of red fruit, well integrated wood in the background. On the palate, fresh, elegant, balanced and long-lasting.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
