A wine developed by a legend, Alvaro Palacios, who was named “Man of the Year” in 2015 by the respected British magazine “Decanter” and is the creator of award-winning wines such as L’ermita and La Faraona.

The hue of La Montesa Crianza 2017 is a little strong cherry. Aromas of red fruits, florals, spices, and wild herbs on the nose. Good acidity, delicate bitterness, and a very fruity finish on the tongue.

Grupo Álvaro Palacios La Montesa Crianza comes from 100 Hectares of organic viticulture in orderly and neat formation. Its classic vineyard surrounded by the wild nature of Monte Yerga is situated in perfectly conditioned soils. As a result, the fruit becomes a smooth flow full of vitality; an intimate pleasure of nature.

Best paired with rice dishes with meat, poultry, suckling pig/ cochinillo & beef stews.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
