Another superb wine from the famous FLechas de Los Andes, the Gran Corte will leave consumers surprised and satisfied.

This beautiful wine hails from the Flechas de Los Andes bodega found in the beautiful Uco Valley located 120 kilometers from Mendoza City. Argentinian wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbecs are particularly well-known around the world. They are seen as excellent producers of these grapes as the climate in which they’re grown is particularly favorable, being quite warm and dry. Wine production is no different. Excellent wine is a major part of Argentinian culture and the wine know-how is above-excellent as good wine is a serious matter.

The Flechas de Los Andes Gran Corte is also a serious wine. It boasts an intense flavor and bouquet thanks to the marriage of Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc varieties. The result is a medium-bodied, soft-tannic wine that is quite refreshing thanks to its acidity. The wine needs to breathe a little longer than normal for the flavors to really oxidize and activate. To the eye: a ruby red with purples and violets. On the nose: obvious oak notes with hints of spices and black fruits. On the palate: notes of violet and prunes are most noticeable with obvious hints of oak thanks to the barrels in which it was aged. Medium finish and very refreshing.

This delicious wine pairs excellently with grilled meats. Try pairing this with a simple salt / pepper crusted steak seared in oil, butter, garlic (with a sprig of thyme) and served alongside a medley of grilled vegetables.

Storage Instructions
