Geografico Contessa di Radda Chianti Classico

Hailing from the municipality of Castellina in the historic DOCG Chianti Classico region, this beautiful wine has been produced with the utmost care and sincerity. From the picking of the grapes until the aging process, the winemakers take a hands-on approach when it comes to grape selection and aging. Everything needs to be just so, thus the almost-pedanticness of the process is worth the end product.

This beautiful wine is well-balanced - not to bold, not too light. It veres towards the tannic end of the spectrum, but not so much as to make one pucker. It is quite dry and is only slightly offset by a little sweetness. It is also quite acidic, which combined with the dryness and tannins makes for a refreshing summer beverage.

To the eye: this wine is a ruby red with violet hues in the right light. To the nose: a vehement bouquet of fruits and violets will assuage the senses. On the palate: this beautiful wine presents slight thoughts of red fruits and spices.

This beautiful wine is best served as an aperitif or an accompanying beverage for a cheese course.

Storage Instructions

Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
