Ana Spinato Cabernet Sauvignon Doc Montello is a still red wine that exudes a brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, it’s strong. Notes of wildberries, spices such as black pepper, a vegetable note of pepper, and some herbaceous notes. On the palate, you will notice fresh aromas of crimson, acidic fruit lead the sip, which is beautifully balanced by tannin. A really rich sip.
It is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and has an alcohol percentage of 12.5%. Its grapes are grown on the hilly and clayey red soils, rich of minerals, which are called “Marne”. Area of Montello and Asolo Hills, Veneto. They are harvested manually, usually during mid October.
The grapes undergo a cold maceration for 4 days then a fermentation for about 20 days at
controlled temperature with a peak of 28° C in stainless steel. They are first matured in
stainless steel and then in different wooden barrels (barrique, tonneau) for 1 year.
Best paired with dishes with meat. Try it with Tagliatelle al ragù.
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration. Keep your bottle horizontal in a wine rack or cellar to retain the moistness of the cork. The ideal temperature for storage is between 7 to 15°C. Once opened, a bottle will be good for 3 to 5 days standing upright in the refrigerator.
