Gordal olives, also known as the ‘fat one’, are delicious, plump, and juicy. They feature a delicious, firm texture, as well as a boisterous, oily flavor accentuated by the deliciousness of the brine in which they are preserved.
These particular olives come from the best farms and are expertly preserved by Rioverde, using only the best ingredients for the brine itself. But before they are preserved in that salty mixture, they are pitted and carefully stuffed with beautiful, flavorful, sour, gherkins. The result is an intense, well-balanced flavor that is difficult to find anywhere else.
These delicious olives work perfectly as part of a charcuterie board, or as an accompaniment to cheese and meat boards. They are just as easily consumed on their own, however. Simply crack open a jar (or three) and enjoy these wonderful olives while sipping on an intense Tempranillo.
