Muria Orange Blossom Honey

Orange blossom honey is a delicious honey that has slight tasting notes reminiscent of a delicious marmalade. But as this is honey, it could not be further from a marmalade save for the fact that both are excellent when applied in copious amounts to heavily buttered bread. Orange blossom honey is given this title when the bees that procure pollen for their hives are exposed to orange blossoms exclusively. The result is a delectable honey that is citrusy and pleasing.

Muria uses the best honey, procured by the most experienced beekeepers. It is delicious, sweet, and delicate - the bees are treated the same way. The bees are allowed to harvest the pollen to their tiny heart’s desire and the result is a honey unfettered by chemical enhancers or flavorants (a flavor-pollutant, if you will).

So what is this honey great with? Of course, heavily buttered toast for breakfast! A finer breakfast, there is none! But our recommendation is layering a slight amount on foie gras next time you partake.
