Muria Eucalyptus Honey is pure honey created by bees that has been feeding on aromatic and pungent eucalyptus blossoms. It is then liberated by Muria’s expert beekeepers, ensuring the little fellows are not harmed during the liberation process and leaving enough for the bees’ own food source.
The honey itself is rich, decadent, and of course, sweet! It bears the unmistakable and familiar scent and taste of eucalyptus, thanks to the foraging efforts of the bees themselves. As this is very pure honey, it does tend to crystallize at cooler temperatures. An easy way to reanimate the honey is to warm it up in a water bath. Ensure temperatures do not reach higher than 40 degrees Celsius or the honey will begin to cook.
What can honey be used for? It is perfect when smeared on hot bread with lots of butter. It is also great in cold brew coffees and works wonderfully as a sweetener in hot tea. It is used in a variety of baked goods, such as cookies and cakes. The uses for honey are nearly endless!
Store in a cool dry place.
