Honey generated by bees in lavender fields is known as lavender honey. Once the jar is opened, you are greeted by an extremely fragrant, powerful, and distinctive scent that reminds you of lavender.
Lavender honey has a thick texture and a light amber tint. Of course, as it crystallizes, its texture becomes considerably tougher and white in color.
Called Miel de Espliego in Spanish, this honey works great with teas. You may also use it drizzled onto desserts and cakes for an extra touch of floral fragrance and taste.
If you prefer to keep things simple, you may also drizzle some honey on toast for a delicious sweet snack!
Store your unopened bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place safe from constant vibration.
