Peach jam is one of the beautiful things that is versatile and can be used in many creations and cheese boards. However, it is self-confident and has a high self-esteem as it is wonderfully delicious when eaten on its own. Peach jam, like tomato jam, works well as a contrasting flavor for different dishes that helps to add layers and complexity to dishes. It works well in both a savory dish and desserts.
Peach jam matches marvelously with cheeses that are spicy and/or marbled, such as pecorino, formaggio di fossa, and gorgonzola. These rich, boisterous cheeses are well complemented by the peach jam as the sweetness and slight sourness of the peaches cuts through the cheese and adds depth on the palate. Peach jam also pairs well with meats such as chicken, turkey, tenderloin, bacon, and prosciutto, to name a few. It also works well on its own, simply presented on a piece of bread. The flavors are confident enough to stand on their own.
