Nutty, oaky, and has a dried fruit nose, the Messias 10 Years Old Port is complex, full-bodied and the palate presents a rich sweetness. It is a balanced wine that has great acidity. It is Portuguese in origin and is wood-aged in oak barrels. It closes with notes of ripe sultanas and quite the acidity, making it end on a balanced note.
The Messias 10 Years Old Port has won numerous awards like the Silver Medal in the Japan Wine Challenge in 2008 and the Bronze Medal in the Japan Wine Challenge in 2011. Scoring a 4 in Vivino, the 1977 ranks among the top 4% of all wines in the entire world.
