Best Before 11/28/2023 - Boursin cheese is a creamy, yet crumbly soft cheese with a delicious blend of fragrant herbs and garlic, wrapped in their signature foil.

The perfect creamy cheese to wow your guests on any given occasion. The Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese is made of authentic Gournay cheese, a pasteurized cow’s milk cheese which packs a flavor and texture very similar to cream cheese. It is then folded in with a gorgeous blend of herbaceous flavors–parsley, dried chives and dried garlic.

Boursin is the creation of Francois Boursin in 1957. It was first produced in Normandy and was named after his small hometown of Gournay. Limited production ensued in Croisy-sur-Eure, France until company Groupe Bel’s acquisition which catapulted its worldwide distribution.

This cheese makes an excellent appetizer. Serve spread on crackers. If you’d like to add this to your Hors d’oeuvres, it would be great paired with thinly sliced smoked salmon and capers over some toast.

You may also use the cheese to create sauces as the Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese has a great melting point. Creamy gooey and delicious cheese, at your reach!

Storage Instructions

Cheeses (except brined ones in jars) should be stored in the crisper or the butter drawer of a refrigerator, not on the shelves themselves. This is to help regulate their temperature and humidity levels—and prevents the formation of mold. Once opened, they should not be kept in their original packaging. Soft cheeses with delicate rinds need to breathe, so they are best placed in glass containers lined with paper towels to absorb extra moisture. Leave the lid open a tiny bit for air to circulate and don’t forget to write up a label with the date you first opened the package. Kindly pay attention to the best before date label when you receive your cheese. Consume prior to date indicated.
