Nakoa has been creating chocolates and sweet delicacies for over 100 years. Founded in 1858, Nakoa follows the same traditions and methods to create delicious sweets now as they did over a century ago. They believe that all good things take time.
Nakoa have taken two fruits that complement each other rather well and have coated them in another substance that binds them together like the rings placed on the ring fingers of a man and woman looking to bind their love in marriage. The ‘Chocolate Sofias’ as they are known in Aragon, or lemon or orange peel coated in beautiful milk chocolate are confections that we really need to have in our lives. The acidity of the peel combined with the silky sweetness of the citrus peel complement and contrast each other wonderfully.
They are best enjoyed on their own to fully savor and appreciate the deliciousness of these confections. They are also great with a cup of Earl Gray tea. The intense palate of the tea will only further complement the chocolates themselves.
