Each year, Pamplona, Spain celebrates a big holiday called San Fermin Festival. On the first day, a rocket is set off to mark the beginning of the festival, and on the last day, it is closed of by lighting candles and singing the beautiful Pobre de Mi, which expresses the longing for the next celebration of the Festival.
The highlight of the festival however, is the running of the bulls or the encierro, where people in white clothes with traditional red handkerchiefs tied around their necks, lead the bull running across the streets of Pamplona to the bullring
Of course, the festival is not all about the running of the bulls. It is not a Spanish festival without music, dancing, and wine drinking!
